Quick thoughts on comics: Red Lanterns #1 I hate Green Lantern, but red is my favourite colour, so I was kind of hoping Red Lanterns would speak to me in some way. But I didn’t get any of it. The Red Lanterns have the power to puke blood and murder people. The leader’s name is Atrocitus. There’s a cat. I don’t get it. Peter Milligan is capable of better than this. But I will give artist Ed Benes credit that he accepted work on a book that doesn’t feature lots of tits and ass. Since I haven’t read the last ten years of Green Latnern stories, and don’t intend to, I don’t plan on following this any further.
