Video Game backlog update:
Playstation Plus recently gave its subscribers all five episodes of Telltale’s Back to the Future game for free. Who am I to say no to a free game?
It was okay. I’m not a big fan of the point and click story game. Whoever they got to voice Marty McFly does an amazing Michael J. Fox impression. And it’s always nice to see Christopher Lloyd in anything these days.
The cartoonish style is a good fit, since caricature is the best way to make actor likenesses work, but the movement and expressions were really stiff. The writing is quite sharp, which is maybe the only thing I really enjoyed. It kept things moving really quickly.
So I finished this short little game, but I can’t say that I really enjoyed it. Not to say that it’s a bad game, just not for me.
